Abdulaziz (Aziz) joined the lab in March 2020 on a fellowship from Kuwait University. His overall interest is in investigating safe locomotion navigation in complex environments. Currently, Aziz is investigating generating path plans for bipedal robot that are socially acceptable and safe.Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Aziz obtained a M.S.E in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania. He worked under professor Daniel E. Koditschek at Kod*Lab, where he developed a fully spatial hopping gait of a 12 DoF tailed biped driven robot. Aziz obtained his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.In his personal life, Aziz is a fan of multiple bad sport franchises including but not limited to: Arsenal, NY Giants, and Philadelphia 76ers.
