Jesse Jiang joined the lab in 2021 and is coadvised between Profs. Ye Zhao and Sam Coogan. His current work focuses on applying formal verification and synthesis tools for motion planning onto legged locomotion systems. More broadly, his interests lie at the intersection of formal methods, learning, and locomotion. Jesse seeks to develop novel theory and algorithms to enable legged robots to safely execute complex behaviors. Outside the lab, Jesse enjoys hiking and photography, especially in combination with each other.
