Junnosuke Kamohara joined the lab in 2024. He is currently investigating methods to fuse model-based and learning-based controllers for bipedal robots to overcome challenging terrains such as sand, mud, and gravel. He is also interested in incorporating a safety factor into the controller so that the robot can adapt its behavior based on risk perception. Outside of the lab, Junnosuke enjoys working out, photography, and playing guitar.
