Yuntian Bill Zhao joined the lab in 2023. His research interest includes legged robots and humanoid robots. He is currently investigating the autonomy and agility of legged robots. More specifically, he is currently working on the pushing recovery of bipedal robot Cassie, rebar locomotion for construction sites, and bipedal locomotion on deformable terrains. Outside of the lab, Yuntian enjoys hiking, travelling, and video gaming.
