Ziyi Zhou joined the lab in 2019. He is currently investigating the autonomy and agility of legged robots. More specifically, he is interested in computationally efficient trajectory optimization algorithms for highly agile motions, as well as perceptive locomotion in highly constrained environments. He is dedicated to applying state-of-the-art planning and control approaches to practical industrial applications such as construction robotics. Outside of the lab, Ziyi enjoys playing video games and traveling.
